Have you discovered it? The artist was so impressed by the subject of Johann Sebastian Bach that he or she spontaneously turned the city of Eisenach into the city of Eisenbach. Solitary on the wall, this large stamp looks perfect, in a series of three similar so even better.

First: Here it is about large stamps and about "Cinderellas", so partially also about little papers, which are exactly just no ( ! ) stamps. But because it is "only" intended as decoration ... that's why they are also allowed here. And because specialists even argue about whether a Cinderella then differs again from a pure printed little piece of paper, this note seems appropriate to me here.
And to the stamp collectors: Completing your collection here doesn't seem to be the right place for us ... despite all the joy about a purchase. Stamp dealers are the right address for you if you want to have your Bach collection complete one day.
And what stamps, sets and Cinderellas are on sale here in the shop? Those that are large in size, those that we can buy cheaply and those that together with two or three or four others look excellent as wall decorations.
You are more interested in this now than in redecorating the walls of your house or apartment in the near future? Then click here to view this collection. It is complete. With one small, justified exception. If small pictures – beyond the quality of a Cinderella – are too stupid, then they are not allowed to enter: into the only complete Bach stamp collection in the world. There is another place where you will find a similar number of stamps. But this collector has only portrayed them ... he doesn't have them to touch. How do we know that? Because there are many that we made available as motifs. Read more about Cinderella below.
Postage stamps, we all know them. You stick them on a letter or parcel and use them to pay for transportation. And you can collect them. According to countries and motifs. So my husband is a motif collector, but only those postage stamps about Bach interest him.
Now, there are countries that only issue plenty of motif stamps for a single reason: They want to earn a little money and appeal to motif collectors worldwide. That's legitimate and fair ... but hardcore collectors disagree. Such little pieces of paper are called Cinderellas.
And finally, there are fantasy sheets, but they do not clearly indicate that they are not a stamp and also not a Cinderella. That is – for me and for us – okay, and for the diligence and effort that someone has made with the design, the printing and the emission, they may – if high quality – into our collection. But they are, absolutely crystal clear, just beautiful printed paper. But a Picasso is, after all, also a beautiful painted canvas. So why not!
Finally, however, there is a fourth category and that is stupid content, a lovelessly smeared motif or really only made to earn a gold nose with the motif collectors of the world. We reject this last category with Bach 4 You and with Bach on Bach. So it could be that you run across such a little piece of paper during your research ... but is not to be found in our collection.
